Internally-fed rotary sieve
Operating principle
- The stainless steel internally-fed rotary sieve is an excellent alternative to the classic externally-fed rotary sieve for applications prone to clogging and/or with high sand content.
- The effluent is fed by pumping or by gravity into the cylindrical Johnson-type or round strainer.
- The waste is retained inside the drum and pushed out at the opposite end by a welded spiral inside the cylinder.
Main applications
- Industrial wastewater :
• Applications subject to high clogging
• Abattoirs, fish farming
• Effluent with a high sand/grit content (tripe works, vegetable processing, etc.) - Urban wastewater
• Pretreatment of mixed effluents or effluent from a sewer system
• Treatment of septage
